³ When you blow both trumpets, everyone should gather with you in front of the congregation tent; ⁴ but if you blow only one of the trumpets, then only the leaders, the heads of the divisions, need to gather with you. ^5-6 You can also use them to sound an alarm. Make the alarm sound when it’s time to move on. When you need to break camp, one alarm will indicate that the people on the east side should depart; the second will be the sign for those on the south side of camp to depart.
